This will remove the fee charged for seat selection for the majority of economy fares on international services.

Affected Fares

From 23 September 2015, Qantas will be removing the $25 charge for Seat Selection for International Economy Saver and Flex fares. The result of this change, is that a fee for seat selection will only be charged for ‘sale’ fares.

This change is aimed at standard seat selection. There will be no change made to the selection of ‘extra legroom’ seats, and they will continue to be charged at the same rate as present.
