Up to 20,000 Qantas Points at the Qantas Wine Points Bonanza

Qantas Wines

Qantas Wines has launched a Points Bonanza offering up to 20,000 bonus points when buying a case of wine.

As I have written before, sometimes these offers allow you to get points for less than you can purchase them. Another way to look at it is that you are buying points and getting wine for free. And so it is with the current offers.

Qantas Wines Points Bonanza

The Qantas Wines Points Bonanza is running from now until 11 February. During that time, Qantas Wines are offering bonus points on 50 different cases of wine.

There are 6 cases with 20,000 on offer. The cheapest of these is a case of 6 Heirloom Anevo Grenache Touriga Tempranillo 2019 priced at $399.

Further up the price range is the Dandelion Heirloom Exceptional Dozen.  You can pick this up for $474, and it also yields 20,000 bonus points.

On top of those, there are also cases of wine that are offering various bonus points. These range from 5,000 to 15,000 points and cover off a range of wine styles.

Cheaper the Buying Points

If you’re looking for some extra points, buying wine during a promotion such as this could be a good way of doing it. As mentioned, it could be cheaper than buying points outright.

Qantas sells points outright for cash. If I head to the Qantas Top Up Points, I discover that I can buy 20,000 Qantas Points for $645. I think I would prefer to pay $400-$500 and get some wine thrown into the deal.
