Keep in mind, if you want the points, you cannot cancel or modify the plan until the points are awarded.

Is it worth it?

Whether the promotion is worth it or not depends on your valuation of Qantas Points. In many cases, you should be able to extract a value of 1.5c or more per point. This means those 60,000 points could be worth $900 or more.

It is also good value if you consider other ways of getting 60,000 points. You could buy them as top up points.  The downside of this path is that it would cost $1,647.

Another popular way of earning points is to use a Qantas Wine bundle. While this is a good way of quickly receiving points, you’d need to buy quite a bit of wine to get 60,000 Qantas Points.
