Qantas Frequent Flyer and Snap Fitness have announced a new partnership, allowing members to earn Qantas Points at Snap Fitness as part of their membership of the two programs. The new agreement kicks off on August 8, allowing exisitng and new members opportunities to gain points.
Under the new deal, new and exisitng members of Snap Fitness stand to gain 100 Qanttas Points per month on their membership.
For new members signing up to Snap Fitness there are two bonus offers available. For an annual plan, paid up front, in full, 3,500 Qantas Points will be available. On the other hand, for a new month to month contract, there will be 1,000 Qantas Points up for grabs.
Existing customers will be able to link their Qantas Frequent Flyer number to their Snap Fitness membership from August 8, enabling the 100 points per month earn rate.earn. Linking the Qantas Frequent Flyer number to a Snap Fitness membership can be done through the members local club.
Snap fitness is a fast growing Fitness Centre frachise operator. It currently has over 170 gyms across Australia, together with 1,700 gyms internationally. The countries that it operates internationally include the United States, Canada, India, Mexico, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. They also have small operations in Egypt, Spain, the Phillipines and Malaysia.
Qantas now joins rival program Velocity in offering points for gym memberships. Under the Velocity program, members of Jetts Fitness gain 2 points for each dollar of their membership costs.In additions, Velcoity offers a type of loyalty bonus, where an extra 60 points is gained each month where 5 or more visits are made to one of their Fitness Centres.
