Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. When you are travelling, however, the cost of a hotel breakfast can really add up. In some good news, Le Club AccorHotels Platinum members now get complimentary breakfast when staying in hotels in Asia Pacific.
Platinum Breakfast
The new policy applies in hotels that do not have an Executive Lounge. Platinum members have had access to Executive Lounges in hotels, where they existed. Such access would normally provide the ability to get whatever the lounge served for breakfast.
However, if there was no lounge in the hotel you were staying at, you were out of luck. Under the new policy, where there is no lounge, platinum members will get a complimentary breakfast in the hotel reastaurant. The offer extends to any registered guest that is staying in the same room as the member.
The new policy applies to all hotels and brands participating in the Le Club AccorHotels program. This includes brands from Ibis, Novotel, Mercure, Pullman, Sofitel and others. It does, however, exclude the Ibis Budget hotels. Fortunately, Accor Plus members receive a complimentary breakfast at Ibis Budget.
Le Club AccorHotels have published a list of hotels that have an Executive Lounge. On the same page, they also provide details of the hotels that don’t have a lounge, but still provide breakfast. As you may expect, as AccorHotels have a lot of hotels, the length is quite long.
