Qantas have leunched a series of offers for Fathers Day. The offers cover bonus points on the earn side, and discounts on the points burning side. While individually, the offers may not be large, they do cut a cross a wide range of the program.
Earn Offers
Double Points at Apple Store and Mr Porter
Double points are on offer for shopping at the Apple Store and Mr Porter through the Qantas Shopping Mall.
In the case of Apple, the double Qantas Points are on offer when purchasing selected products from the Apple Online Store between 7 August 2015 and 6 September 2015. This brings the total points on offer through the Apple Store to points per dollar.
For Mr Porter, the standard points are 4 points per dollar, however, for Fathers Day, a double points offer is taking this to 8 points per dollar. As with the Apple Store, the double points is on offer until 6 September 2015.
Qantas Restaurants
Qantas are offering a bonus 50 points per diner for anyone booking a Fathers Day meal through Qantas Restaurants. With the 100 points per diner as standard, that comes to 150 points per diner. The offer is fairly restrictive in that it does require a meal on Fathers Day only.
To earn 150 Qantas Points per diner you must book your reservation through the qantas.com/restaurants online booking system. This booking needs to be made between 7 August 2015 and 6 September 2015, with the dining to be on 6 September 2015. During the booking process you will need to quote your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number and name when making your reservation.
Using Points
747 Flight Simulator Experience
Through the Qantas Store, a 747-400 Flight Simulator Experience is available, Normally, this prices out at 115,000 Qantas Points, but is currently available with a 20% discount. This brings the offer down to 92,000 Qantas Points. This can be partially exchanged for case using the Points + Pay option.
The features of the Qantas Flight Simulator experience is held in Sydney and includes
- 1hr simulator session for 2 persons in the Boeing 747-400 flight simulator
