Choice Privileges are once again offering members of Qantas Frequent Flyer and Velocity an opportunity to earn double points on transfers from Choice Privileges.
You will need to be quick though. The bonus offer is only available for 7 days – with transfers needing to be made between 14 October and 20 October 2024.

When transferring to Qantas or Velocity the limits and conditions are largely the same. As a result, the following generally applies to transfers to either program.
When transferring from Choice Privileges to either Qantas or Virgin, you can transfer a minimum of 2,000 Choice Privileges Points. From there, you can transfer in increments of 1,000 points.
If you transfer 2,000 points you normally receive 800 Qantas or Velocity Points. During the promotion, that will be 1,600 Qantas or Velocity Points.
From there. each additional 1,000 Choice Privilege Points will get you 800 Qantas or Velocity Points. The is a boost from the usual 400 points.
There is one limitation to be aware of if you are thinking of buying points to transfer. Under the terms of the promotion, you can only transfer points that were purchased prior to 14 October. As such, you can’t buy points and transfer them for the bonus in this promotion.
How to Transfer Points
You can transfer points from Choice Privileges through the online Rewards Exchange process. In order to transfer points, you will need to link your Qantas or Velocity account to Choice Privileges. Once you have done that, you can transfer your points through Rewards Exchange.
Thoughts
If you’ve collected a stash of Choice Privileges points, it may be worth considering shipping them across to Qantas or Velocity while the double points promotion is on.
