IHG One Rewards has released a new offer of a Fast Track to Platinum or Gold status. Under the offer, you could earn either Platinum or Gold status through to the end of 2023.
Your challenge, once registered, is to complete a number of qualifying nights. In order to complete the Gold Fast Track, you will need to complete 2 nights at an IHG hotel by the end of the year. If you have Platinum in your sights, then you will need to complete 5 nights.
IHG One Rewards Fast Track Details
- Offer: Fast Track to Gold or Platinum
- Complete 2 nights after registration to achieve Gold Status
- Complete 5 nights after registration to achieve Platinum Status
- Registration: You must first register for the promotion, prior to completing your eligible stays
- Stay Dates: Your qualifying stays must be made between registering and 31 December 2022.
Your account will be updated to reflect your new status shortly after completing the required number of stays. There have been varying reports on how long this takes. Once updated, you will have the status for the remainder of 2022, through to the end of 2023.
For members aiming for Platinum, it will be a two-step process. You will be awarded Gold after the first two qualifying stays. To get to Platinum status, you need to stay three more nights.
The nights must be part of a paid booking in order to qualify for the Fast Trak. In addition, the room rate must exceed USD30 per night. Any Rewards nights, or stays using Points and Cash do not count toward the Fast Track.
If you want to extend your status past the end of 2023, you will need to meet the requirements for the status during 2023.
