IHG Rewards offering Bonus Points For InterContinental Stays

    MarkBy MarkOctober 27, 2019No Comments3 Mins Read

If you’ll be staying at an Intercontinental Hotel before the end of November, you could be in line for 3,000 bonus points for each stay. That’s on top of what you would normally earn. It is also on top of anything you can earn in the current Accelerate promotion.

There’s a couple of components to this promotion. Firstly, there are 3,000 bonus points for all members.

That’s right – IHG Rewards are offering 3,000 bonus points for each stay, up to a maximum of 5 stays. As a result, you could be in line for a total of 15,000 points if you have those 5 stays.

However, there is more. Basically, IHG Rewards are offering an additional enticement to try to gain more Ambassador members. If you are not currently an Ambassador member, you can get an additional 10,000 points for joining, and you will also get an additional 3,000 points per stay.

3,000 Bonus points for each stay

The 3,000 bonus points offer is open to all IHG Rewards members. It’s a simple promotion, with just a couple of easy steps:

    1. Register in advance, then
    2. book a stay at an Intercontinental before 30 November 2019.

New IHG Ambassadors members get even more

If you sign up as a new Ambassador during the promotion period, you could be in line for even more points. Any IHG Rewards member can sign up for the Ambassador program – you just need to pay a fee of $US200 to join. If you stay in Intercontinental Hotels, this fee can easily be covered by the inclusions in the package. For example, it recently saved me close to $SGD500 on a stay in Singapore.

Firstly, if you sign up by 30 November, you will be in line for an additional 10,000 IHG Rewards Points. On top of that, you will get an additional 3,000 bonus points per stay, on stays by 30 November. As a result, you will be getting 6,000 bonus points per stay.

So, as a new Ambassador you could receive up to 40,000 bonus points:

    • InterContinental Hotels Stay Bonus max earning = 15,000 bonus points
    • Ambassador Enrollment Bonus max earning = 10,000 bonus points
    • New Ambassador Stay Bonus max earning = 15,000 bonus points

To take advantage of this offer, click through to the link above, and select to join the Ambassador program.

Unfortunately, existing Ambassador members are unable to participate in this additional offer.
