Marriott Bonvoy is running a new points sale, and this time you can snag up to a 40% bonus. They’ve also bumped the annual purchase limit from the usual 100,000 points to 150,000, which gives you a bit more flexibility if you’re looking to top up your balance.
Buying points speculatively isn’t usually a great idea. That said, in the right situation it can save you money on hotel stays. It all comes down to the cash rates for the dates and places you have in mind.
Offer Details
Marriott Bonvoy members can receive a bonus when they buy 2,000 points or more between now and 24 June 2026. On top of that, the annual purchase limit has been bumped up to 150,000 points (that’s 50,000 more than usual). That gives you a lot more wiggle room if you’re looking to top up your balance.

Thoughts
The big benefit of buying points is that you can use the points for award nights. These offers are good if you have such a night in mind as it can end up being cheaper than a cash night.
