    Pan Pacific Singapore reopens

    MarkBy MarkSeptember 17, 2023No Comments3 Mins Read

Pan Pacific Hotels has reopened the Pan Pacific Singapore following a Singapore S$30 million transformation.

Located in the Marina Bay area, the 790-room hotel now boasts a new dining concept Pacific Emporium and plush destination bar PLUME.

    Entrance

They say first impressions count and the Grand Atrium and VIP lounge are designed to impress. Guests are welcomed with lush greenery including a 130-year-old Bonsai tree centrepiece, floating lantern-like pods over a body of water. The timber walkways and bridges pay tribute to the Singapore River, a vital element of Singapore’s history and prosperity.

    The Rooms

The refurbishment of the hotel has seen many of the hotel’s rooms redesigned. The changes include a reduction in balcony size, with the space being used to increase the room sizes. In addition, beds have been repositioned to maximise views of the Marina Bay skyline.

    Pacific Emporium

The Pacific Emporium is a new dining and retail space within the hotel. The area is divided into four distinct spaces, with a name reflecting the purpose of each space. These spaces are The Kitchen, The Bar, The Deli, and The Gifting.

In the Kitchen, you’ll find dishes such as Peranakan Wagyu Beef Burgers, Heritage Chicken Rice, and Lobster Laksa. Head to the bar for cocktails, freshly pressed juices, and more. Over in The Deli, you’ll find epicurean delights, fine charcuterie, gourmet cheeses, and the finest patisserie. Finally, the gifting carries a curated collection of Singapore’s creativity and craftsmanship in The Gifting.

Pan Pacific describes Plume as a destination bar. The cocktails themselves are inspired by the colourful birds of Singapore.

    Happy Sleepers

Pan Pacific has revealed its new Happy Sleepers programme. As part of the programme, guests will be offered exceptional quality bedding, pillow menus, sleep-promoting food and beverages including warm milk, tea, and healthy snacks to regulate melatonin levels.

In addition, an in-room sleep menu is available. This includes a guide to the five best yoga poses to encourage sleep and relaxation. Other features include a guided meditation playlist, custom room scenting and aromatherapy bath experiences.

The programme is available to Club and Suite guests and other VIPs. This includes Platinum tier and above members of the Pan Pacific DISCOVERY loyalty programme.

    Loyalty

The Pan Pacific Discovery program is part of the broader GHA Discovery program. The usual benefits of membership of the program apply. In addition, there is the brand specific inclusion of the Happy Sleepers programme.

Airlines come and go. New hotels open, old hotels change brands, and on it goes. FlyStayPoints was started as a way to try to keep on top of all this. Keep track of promotions.
