    Qantas boosting flights to Hobart

    Qantas has announced that it will be adding more services between Hobart and the east coast cities of Melbourne and Sydney next year. The new filgts are scheduled to benefit business business travellers and customers connecting to Qantas international routes.

    The new flights will kick in from 8 March 2016 and will be operated by QantasLink Boeing 717 aircraft. The totl number of services between Hobart to Syndey and Melbourne will increase to a total of 46 per week – an increase of 11 flights over the 35 services that are currently running.

    The new services will operate using 2 class Boeing 717 aircraft. These aircraft are configured with 12 Business Class seats, and 98 Economy Seats, The aircraft will be fitted with the Q-Streaming product, which will enable passengers to use their own devices to access on board content. Passengers wishing to take advantage of this will need to have the Qantas Entertainment App installed on their device.
