Qantas has launched a limited‑time 20% discount on Domestic Economy Classic Reward flights, giving Frequent Flyers the chance to redeem points for less. This offer is valid for bookings made 19–25 May 2026, with eligible travel dates spanning 1 June 2026 to 9 May 2027.
For example, a Classic Reward flight between Sydney and Melbourne normally costs 9,200 Qantas Points (plus taxes and fees). With the 20% discount applied, the points requirement drops to 7,400 points. Taxes and carrier charges remain unchanged at approximately $57.
You should note that the discount applies only to Economy Reward bookings. Business Class and mixed‑cabin itineraries are excluded. The promotion is also restricted to domestic Australian routes

In order to use this offer, you can just book your award flights as usual. The discount will be applied automatically. In short, follow the steps:
- Log in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account
- Search for domestic Economy or Business Classic Flight Rewards on or before 25 May 2026
- Remember to select ‘Use Points’ when doing the search
- Book your flight for travel from 1 June 2026 and 9 May 2027.
