Qantas has kicked off a new promotion offering a 25% discount on Domestic Economy Reward flights. The offer is available for bookings made between 27 January and 1 February 2026. You can travel at any time between 9 February 2026 and 13 January 2027.
As an example of how this works, consider a flight between Sydney and Melbourne. Normally a Classic Reward seat would require 9,200 points (plus taxes and charges). By taking advantage of the 25% discount, this comes down to 6,900 points. The discount does not extend to the taxes and charges, so you would still be up for about $57 in both cases.
When booking, keep in mind that the discount only applies to Economy bookings. It excludes bookings in Business Class, including mixed-class bookings that include Economy and Business sectors. In addition, the discount is limited to Domestic services.

As usual, the 25% discount only applies to the points component of the fare. Any extra fees and charges paid in cash are not discounted.
Using the offer
In order to use this offer, you can just book your award flights as usual. The discount will be applied automatically. In short, follow the steps:
- Log in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account
- Search for domestic Economy or Business Classic Flight Rewards on or before 1 February 2026
- Remember to select ‘Use Points’ when doing the search
- Book your flight for travel from 9 February 2026 and 13 January 2027.
