Singapore Airlines introduces new Krisflyer Milestone Rewards

Krisflyer has revamped its KrisFlyer Elite Gold Rewards program, launching it as Krisflyer Milestone Rewards. The new program extends to all members, not just the Gold Elite members. As a result, the milestones start at a lower level than they did in the past.

Krisflyer keeps a tally of the number of Elite Miles you earn each calendar year on Singapore Airlines, Scoot and SilkAir. As a result, any elite miles earned on other partners, such as Star Alliance partners, do not count.

When you achieve the Milestone, you will receive the specified award.

Krisflyer Milestone Rewards

Rewards start when you earn your first 5,000 Elite Miles in a calendar year. When you achieve this, Krisflyer will rewards you with 1,000 KrisPay miles (which is the equivalent of SGD10). While that soundsĀ  good, it is probably of most benefit to someone living in Singapore.

In fact, the first two Rewards are mostly applicable to Singapore Residents. It is when you get to 20,000 Elite Miles that there are real benefits to someone living outside the republic.

The full chart is as follows:

Elite miles earned (per calendar year) KrisFlyer Milestone Reward
5,000 miles 1,500 KrisPay miles (SG$10 equivalent) to be used in Kris+
10,000 miles $20 KrisShop promo code on a minimum SG$100 transaction for goods on
20,000 miles 25% bonus KrisFlyer miles on a single flight segment
30,000 miles 50% bonus KrisFlyer miles on a single flight segment
