Thai Airways resumes daily flights between Perth and Bangkok

    MarkBy MarkJanuary 9, 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

Thai Airways has announced it intends to resume daily flights between Perth and Bangkok. Following the announcement from South African Airways, it became the second Star Alliance carrier to announce new Perth plans.

In the case of Thai, it will be operating a daily return service from 27 March 2024. Thai will be operating the route using its Boeing 787 aircraft. This aircraft consists of 256 seats – 22 in Business in a 2-2-2 arrangement, with the balance in Economy.

As noted, Royal Silk Business on this aircraft used a slightly dated product (the 2-2-2 layout).

The flight schedules appear to vary a little during the week.

    • Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday: TG483 departs Bangkok at 0001, arriving in Perth at 07:45. It then turns around, departing Perth at 09:20 for a 15:20 arrival into Bangkok
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday: TG481 leaves Bangkok at 07:20 to arrive in Perth at 15:05. TG482 returns to Bangkok, departing Perth at 16:20 for a 22:20 arrival into Bangkok.
