Most people think of hotel points as a simple way to score free nights, but there’s actually a lot more you can do with them. Some loyalty programs even let you turn your points into something meaningful, like supporting causes you care about. That’s the idea behind a new collaboration between I Prefer Hotel Rewards and Beyond Green. Together, they’ve launched the “I Prefer Points for Good” campaign. They are giving members the chance to donate their points to Wild Impact, a nonprofit focused on conservation and community development.

    I Prefer Points for Good

&Beyond and Wild Impact have teamed up with Beyond Green and I Prefer Hotel Rewards to relaunch the I Prefer Points for Good campaign. If you’re an I Prefer member, you can donate your points to support conservation and community projects. I Prefer will match every donation, up to one million points.

The campaign is part of Impact in Five, a year‑long celebration of Beyond Green’s five‑year anniversary starting 22 April 2026. &Beyond and Wild Impact are helping lead the first phase.

Beyond Green is a global leader in sustainable travel. It works with partners like Travalyst and &Beyond to push the industry forward. Since 2024, &Beyond has been auditing all its lodges, camps, and soon its yachts, to meet Beyond Green’s strict sustainability standards. These standards include nearly 100 indicators aligned with the GSTC and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

&Beyond operates across Africa, Asia, and South America. The company focuses on protecting wilderness areas and supporting the communities that live alongside them. This shared commitment to people and the planet is what connects &Beyond and Beyond Green.

    How your points help

By donating points, I Prefer members can support real, meaningful work. Your points help protect wild places, strengthen communities, and fund long‑term conservation. When you donate to Wild Impact, your contribution goes directly to projects that create lasting change.

Wild Impact has partnered with &Beyond for more than 30 years. Their work includes biodiversity protection, education, healthcare, youth leadership, climate resilience, and job creation. They support both landscapes and seascapes across multiple regions.

This year’s campaign will support Community and Conservation Rangers in the Okavango Delta. These rangers teach environmental lessons in schools, help communities manage human‑wildlife conflict, and lead climate‑resilience projects focused on food and water security.

I Prefer will match every donated point, doubling your impact. Donations are open from 22 April to 31 May 2026.

Mark, the founder of Fly Stay Points, caught the travel bug early in life. During his travels, he eventually came to stumble upon loyalty programs, He first discovered the world of airline frequent flyer programs, and later hotel loyalty programs. He is always plotting his next adventure - and this includes working out how to leverage the loyalty programs. It is a constantly evolving world. Promotional opportunities come and go. Airlines come and go. New hotels open, old hotels change brands, and on it goes. FlyStayPoints was started as a way to try to keep on top of all this. Keep track of promotions.
