Wilson Parking and Velocity part ways

    MarkBy MarkMay 8, 2019No Comments2 Mins Read

Wilson Parking and Velocity Frequent Flyer are parting ways from May 30. From that date, Wilson Parking will no longer offer Velocity Points when parking in their car parks.

As part of the exit from the program, the partners state that members with eligible bookings must park at the parking facility associated with their Book a Bay purchase on or before 30 May 2019 to be eligible to earn Points.

For members on monthly invoicing, the May invoice will be the final invoice to accrue Velocity Points.

Wilson also run a frequent parker program called Wilson One. This program gained a boost in membership two years ago with a popular promotion offering 1000 Velocity Points points for joining the program. Under the program, Wilson One members earn 2 Velocity Points per dollar. Wilson are offering points on Wilson One transactions made up until May 30.

Wilson Parking offered different points earn rates for different products. Members taking out a Book a Bay booking, Wilson offered up 5 Velocity Points per dollar. On the other hand, members of Wilson One made do with 2 Velocity Points per dollar.

While that sees the end of Wilson Parking and Velocity, Frequent Flyers still have a points earning option, albeit with Qantas. The Qantas and Secure Parking partnership continues offering a range of options for parkers to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
