Accor has a new partnership with National Australia Bank (NAB) allowing NAB cardholders to earn Accor Live Limitless – ALL points on their spend. In addition, Accor will be offering fast-track opportunities to NAB cardholders who link their NAB cards to their ALL account.
NAB Rewards Card
The NAB Rewards cards earn up to
- 1 NAB Rewards point per $1 spent on the NAB Rewards Platinum credit card, or
- 1.25 NAB Rewards points per dollar on the NAB Rewards Signature card.
The current conversion rate is 6 NAB Rewards Points to 1 ALL Rewards point. On the surface, this doesn’t sound like a great transfer rate compared to other programs. However, ALL Reward Points are generally worth more than 3c each. This does move around a bit, depending on the exchange rate at the time.
As part of the offer, NAB Rewards cardholders can link their NAB Rewards card to their ALL account. This enables a weekly auto-transfer of points from your NAB Rewards account to your Accor Live Limitless – ALL account. Alternatively, you can manually transfer points at a rate of 3,000 NAB Rewards Points to 500 ALL Rewards points.
Fast Track to Silver or Gold status
NAB and Accor are offering a bit of a carrot to link your accounts together. By linking your accounts, you will be eligible for an annual fast track to Silver or Gold status.
If you take out a NAB Rewards Signature card you could get a fast track to gold. To get on the fast track, you simply need to link your accounts. Once linked, you will be eligible for a Gold fast track, and you simply need to make an eligible stay at an Accor property. This fast track is available each year that your accounts remain linked. ALL Gold status gives you a welcome gift, room upgrade, early check-in, or late check-out.
On the other hand, if you have a NAB Rewards Platinum card you could be eligible for a fast track to silver. As with the Gold fast track, you need to link your accounts and make an eligible stay. Again, this is offered every year that your accounts remain linked. ALL Silver status gives you a welcome drink and priority check-in
10% discount at Accor hotels
Under the partnership, NAB Rewards cardholders are eligible for a 10% discount off flexible rates at participating Accor hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tahiti.
In order to access the discount, you will need to go through a dedicated webpage (available in the NAB Rewards store). In addition, you should use your NAB Rewards card to guarantee the booking.
The discount only applies to the flexible rate, and is not available on the cheaper advance purchase, non-refundable options.
Launch Offers
As a launch offer, NAB is offering bonus ALL points when taking out a new NAB Rewards credit card:
- Signature Launch Offer: Earn up to 30,000 ALL Reward points (converted from 180,000 NAB Rewards Points) on a new NAB Rewards Signature credit card when you meet the eligibility criteria. Spend $3,000 on everyday purchases within 60 days of opening the account and keep the card open for over 12 months. 30,000 ALL Rewards points is equivalent to AUD$1,000 towards a hotel stay.
- Platinum Launch Offer: Earn up to 20,000 ALL Reward points (converted from 120,000 NAB Rewards Points) on a new NAB Rewards Platinum credit card when you meet the eligibility criteria. Spend $1,000 on everyday purchases within 60 days of opening the account and keep the card open for over 12 months.
And the Qantas link
It is worth noting that you can also link your Qantas account to your ALL account for additional benefits. Depending on your status levels, this could allow you to triple dip on points. For example, if you pay for a Qantas flight on your NAB Rewards card, you could earn both ALL and Qantas Points after flying. Similarly, by paying for your Accor stay with your NAB Rewards card, you could earn ALL Points and Qantas Points.
