Best Western Rewards is running a promotion offering up to three US$50 Best Western Gift Cards. All you need to do is stay three nights at any Best Western hotel in Australia or New Zealand, and you’ll get a US$50 gift card. Do that three times, and you’ll get the maximum of three cards.
With today’s exchange rate, each US$50 card comes out to roughly $75 AUD, so you could get about $225 AUD in total. And while only your stays in Australia and New Zealand count toward earning the cards, you can use the gift cards for stays at Best Western hotels anywhere in the world.

There are a few things to keep in mind about the card. Firstly, the card is issued in US dollars. As noted, a $50 US card is currently worth about $75 Australian Dollars.
Secondly, the card is issued as an electronic card. As such, Best Western will send the card by email to you. All going well, this will arrive in your inbox within two weeks of your stay.
One of the nice features of the card is that you can use it at any Best Western hotel worldwide. On top of that, even if you can’t use it yourself, it is transferable to another member.
Having said that, you won’t have very long to use the card. The cards will have an expiry date of 2 August 2026. So, depending on when you stay, you could have as little as 3 months in which to use the credit.
Thoughts
Best Western have run similar promotions over the last few years. For example, they offered $25 gift cards for each night two years ago. They also run similar promotions for members in North America. So, it must work for them.
In comparison to other chains, Best Western has a reasonable footprint across regional areas. As such, this could be a good offer for Best Western Rewards members that are currently travelling around various regional areas.
