Velocity members have an opportunity to earn quadruple points when making hotel bookings through the Virgin Australia booking service. This means that you will receive 12 points per dollar on hotel bookings, up from the usual 3 points per dollar.
The points are being offered through the partnership between Virgin Australia and Rocket Travel, an Agoda company.

In order to earn points on these bookings, you will need to ensure you use actual money for the booking. This basically allows you to pay any way they allow, except by using Velocity points for the booking. If you use Velocity points to pay for any portion of the booking, you will lose the offer.
In order to get the points, you will need to enter your Velocity number during the booking process. Then, after your stay, your points should post to your account. If you are on a prepaid rate, this should happen 2 to 3 weeks after check-out. On the other hand, if you choose to pay at the hotel, the points could take up to 6 weeks to post.
