Earn Qantas Points with Qantas Home Insurance

Qantas has expanded its insurance portfolio giving Frequent Flyers the ability to earn Qantas Points on their home insurance.

As an introductory offer, members can earn up to 40,000 Qantas Points when they sign up for a Qantas Home Insurance policy by 28 February 2021. This is in addition to the Qantas Points that offered on an ongoing basis to policyholders.

It is a stepped bonus based on your annual premium. In order to get the full 40,000 Qantas Points, you will need to have a premium of at least $1,550.

Home insurance is designed to cover you should something happen to your home and/or belongings. That is, it will help to cover the expense of a range of events that could happen to your property.

Qantas insurance provides the following cover:

  • Home Building insurance
  • Contents insurance
  • Home and Contents Insurance
  • Renters insurance
  • Landlord insurance

Points On Offer

On top of the introductory offer, policy holders will also earn Qantas Points on their premiums. In addition, there are tasks that can be completed to earn extra points.

Firstly, you can earn 1 Qantas Point for each dollar you spend on your premium.

Secondly, there is the opportunity to earn up to 1,600 points through the Qantas Wellbeing app. Qantas awards these points for completing various tasks. In order to earn the 1,600 points you will need to

  • complete two home safety checks,
  • complete five smoke alarm checks and
  • reach your sleep goal 6 out of every 10 days

These points are awarded after recording the activities in the Qantas Wellbeing App.
