GHA Discovery has further extended its offer of $D5 for making bookings through its App. While this had been scheduled to wind up on 30 June, and then 30 September, it is now valid until 31 December 2025.
As a recap, in mid-2023 GHA Discovery launched an “App-solutely Rewarding” promotion. This offered members the opportunity to earn a bonus of 15 Discovery Dollars when booking through the GHA Discovery App. GHA then further extended the bonus to apply through all of 2024.
A similar promotion followed in 2025. However, this came with a reduction in the bonus to $D5. While this was originally launched for three months (Jan-Mar), it has been extended a few times. The latest three month extension takes the promotion through to the end of the year.
‘Keep it App’ Key Details

- You must make a booking through the GHA Discovery App. There is no minimum stay requirement
- Booking Period:
- You will need to make your booking between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025
- Stay Period:
- You can stay anytime up until 31 December 2025, but you will need to have checked-out by that date. If you check-out after 31 December, then no bonus will be awarded.
The bonus Discovery Dollars are in addition to any other Discovery Dollars earned during the stay. Keep in mind that bonus Discovery Dollars have their own expiry date, expiring 6 months after they are awarded. So, you will need to take this into account when deciding how to best use the bonus Discovery Dollars.

Final Words
A bonus of 5 Discovery Dollars simply for making the booking through the APP is a reasonable promotion, although not as good as D$15. It is certainly not as lucrative as a previous 50 Discovery Dollars promotion; the new promotion is valid on a single night stay.
