Hilton has launched a sale offering members up to 30% off room rates across Asia-Pacific.
As with many recent offers, the maximum discount is only available to Honors members. If you are not a member, then a lower discount of 25% is on offer.
IIn any case, the full discount is only available to Hilton Honors member. This is not a big deal, as it is free to sign up to the Hilton Honors program.
Some individual hotels may have blackout date for the sale. In addition, some hotels may not be open at times during the next few months.
Due to the current travel situation, Hilton are offering this on a more flexible basis than normal. A prepayment is not required, and you are able to cancel up to 24 hours prior to the stay.
Key Details
The basic key details of the promotion are as follows:
- Offer: Up to 30% off Hilton stays for Hilton Honors members. If you are not a member of Hilton Honors, you are eligible for a 25% discount.
- Booking Dates: You will need to stay between 15 June and 31 July
- Stay Dates: You will need to stay between 16 June 2020 and 31 March 2021.
The offer is available at all participating properties in Australasia. As a result, you will find hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and French Polynesia offering discounts.
When calculating the room rates, Hilton applies the discount to the Flexible Rate (BAR) or the Breakfast Included Rate (B&B). While these are specific flexible rates, the actual offer is an advance purchase rate.
Sale Considerations
These Hilton Sales can offer a decent rate for particular properties on certain dates. As always with hotel prices, it is best to check the other offers that may be available.
Unusually for a sale, this rates are basically flexible rates. This means that you can book even though you may not be able to complete the stay.
If you are booking a stay in the near future, don’t forget that the Points Unlimited promotion has been extended. This could give you a welcome boost in points.
