Jetstar has kicked off a new promotion offering the chance to earn double points on Starter or Max bundle fares. In addition, anyone taking advantage of the promotion will also receive a share of 5,000,000 Qantas Points.
The bonus is applicable to fares purchase between 13 March and 31 March for travel between April and June. The offer is available on both Jetstar (JQ) and Jetstar Asia (3K) flights.

This is an interesting promotion in that it has two legs to it. The first being that you can earn double points on Starter or Max bundles. To be honest, this is the more interesting part of the promotion, as it is a pretty much guaranteed number of points.
The second part, a share is 5,000,000 points sounds good, but you never know how many points you’ll get. While everyone gets an equal share, if there are lots of people in that ‘everyone’, then you may not receive that many points.
Still, given that you are receiving double points, the extra points from the share will be a nice addition. Just don’t expect it to be many points.
