Kayo Sports doubles the Qantas Points signup bonus

    MarkBy MarkDecember 10, 2020No Comments3 Mins Read

Kayo Sports have doubled the number of Qantas Points on offer for taking up a new subscription. To be in the running for the double points, you will need to take out a new subscription by 31 December 2020.

    New subscribers will earn

    • 2,000 bonus Qantas Points on the $25 plan (normally 1,000 points) and
    • 3,000 bonus Qantas Points on the $35 plan (normally 1,500 points).

This is in addition to the monthly points on offer for maintaining a subscription. The $25 plan offers 100 Qantas Points per month, while the $35 plan offers 150 Qantas Points per month.

To be eligible for the points you will need to be a new subscriber to the service. In addition, the points are not available to you, if you have held a Kayo subscription in the past 12 months

    Kayo Sports Packages

You have a choice of two Kayo Sports subscription packages to choose from.  The basic subscription at $25 per month, and a premium package at $35 per month.

The number of Qantas Points that you can earn will depend on the package you sign up for.

    Basic Plan

The Basic Plan has a monthly charge of $25. Under this plan, you are offered 1,000 Qantas Points for signing up. Ongoing, you are offered 100 points per month while you are subscribed to the service.

    Premium Plan

The Basic Plan has a monthly charge of $35. Under this plan, you are offered 1,500 Qantas Points for signing up. Ongoing, you are offered 150 points per month while you are subscribed to the service.

There’s not a lot between the two subscription plans. Basically, the Basic Plan allows you to stream to two screens, while the Premium Plan lets you stream to three screens.

    What is Kayo Sports?

Kayo Sports is a sports streaming service run by Foxtel. You could think of it being to sport what Netflix is to movies and TV shows.

The marketing suggests that it is a one-stop shop for sports enthusiasts. It offers over 50 sports, including AFL, NRL, rugby league, A-League, tennis, and Formula 1.

And it’s not just live feeds. Your subscription includes replays, commentary, documentaries, and more. Among its display features, you will find

    • ‘split-screen’ allowing you to watch multiple matches at the same time,
    • ‘key moments’ allowing you to find the best parts of a match and
    • ‘no spoilers’ which blocks scores from appearing on screen.
