Adairs and Qantas Frequent Flyer have announced a new partnership offering Qantas Points when shopping at Adairs. The new partnership came into effect on 30 July, allowing members of Adairs Linen Lovers program to earn Qantas Points.
It is worth noting that the Linen Lovers program comes at a cost of $19.95 per two year period. That said, a new membership comes with a $20 discount voucher every 12 months. While you do need to make a purchase over $50, this will cover off that membership fee.
While Qantas Frequent Flyers have been able to earn through the Qantas Online Shopping Mall, the new partnership offers a way to earn Qantas Points in-store.
Adairs Linen Lovers Program
To earn Qantas Points, you need to join the Adairs Linen Lovers Program. Adairs launched this program in 1995 and has since grown it to over 1 million members.
The program encourages members to shop at Adairs by offering benefits such as ongoing discounts, early access to sales, and exclusive offers. Those benefits have now been extended to include the ability to earn Qantas Points.
Earning Qantas Points at Adairs
In order to earn Qantas Points at Adairs, there are slightly different approaches depending on whether you are making an in-tore of online purchase.
If you are making your purchase in-store, you will need to:
- Identify yourself as a Linen Lovers member
- Scan your Qantas Frequent Flyer (digital) card at the in-store counter
For online purchases:
- Enter both your Linen Lovers and Qantas Frequent Flyer details during checkout.
Either way, you could earn 1 Qantas Point for each dollar you spend.
Partnership Launch
In announcing the partnership, Qantas Loyalty CEO, Andrew Glance said:
This partnership offers Qantas Frequent Flyers another avenue to accelerate their points balance.
This partnership with Adairs is another significant milestone in Qantas Frequent Flyer’s expansion to iconic Australian retailers to offer our members more opportunities to earn on the ground.
Over the past five years, the number of points members have earned through retailers has doubled, and we anticipate this figure to double again by 2030, as we expand our footprint across a growing range of retail categories.
Final Words
Adiars customers have been able to earn Qantas Points through the Qantas Shopping Online Mall portal. The change here extends this to in-store shopping, and online shopping generally. That said, it looks as though you still earn through the Qantas Shopping Online Mall.
If you are an Adairs customer, this will provide an additional way of earning Qantas Points. While you have to pay for a Linen Lovers membership, the benefits you get could cover off the membership fee.
