Marriott Bonvoy has revealed its first global promotion for 2025, and it’s a good one. As it did last year, Marriott is offering members 1,000 bonus points and 1 bonus Elite Night Credit on each eligible paid night.
This is a good opportunity for Marriott Bonvoy members to fast track their Elite status. By taking advantage of this offer, you only need to stay half the number of nights you would normally need to stay.
The promotion kicks off properly on 11 February and will end on 28 April, 2025. That said, you can now pre=register for the promotion, and you must register by 14 Apri, 2025.

You’ll find this promotion in Promotion Central when you have logged into your account. Alternatively, you can try this link.
Note that they have specified that this bonus is on paid nights. Some other things to note:
- No limit (sort of): With this promotion, members can earn unlimited bonus points and bonus Elite Night Credits during the 77-day earning period. While they say unlimited, given the promotion runs for 77 days, you could earn up to 77,000 bonus points and 77 bonus Elite Night Credits.
- Booking channels: Members must book stays directly with Marriott on Marriott.com, in the Marriott Bonvoy Mobile app or through a reservations center. Rates available through most third-party online retailers and select travel agency rates do not qualify for this promotion.
- A hotel must participate in Marriott Bonvoy at the time of the stay to qualify as a stay night under the promotional terms.
Status Boost
As a result of this promotion, you could gain (or regain) your status in half the number of nights it would normally take.
For example, a member can achieve Silver Elite status in just five nights instead of 10. With Silver Elite status, members can unlock new benefits such as late check-out and 10% bonus points on eligible future hotel stays.
Gold status is normally achieved after 25 nights, however, this promotion could reduce that to just 13 nights. This gives you additional benefits such as extended late check-out, a welcome gift, and the ability to earn 25% bonus points on your stay,
The benefits available at the Platinum level step this up a notch. Under this promotion, you could get there in just 25 nights, rather than the normal 50 nights. At the Platinum level, the ability to choose breakfast as a welcome choice becomes available. In addition, lounge access is available at participating hotels.
Final Words
These promotions provide an excellent opportunity to fast-track your way to Elite status. As you move up the status ladder, you can enjoy additional benefits. For example, breakfast or executive lounge access becomes available at the Platinum level.
