Marriott Rewards have launched their first global promotion following the merger with SPG. Sticking with the MegaBonus name, it will be for stays between September 26, 2018 and January 31, 2019.
The promotion is two pronged. Firstly, there are bonus points on each stay of two or more nights. On top of that, Marriott are promoting their range of brands, and there are extra points for each different brand you stay at. There is also a game coming to promote their 29 brands of the merged operations.
The promotion is valid at all 29 brands of the merged Marriott Rewards, SPG and Ritz Carlton programs. As usual with these promotions, you will need to register for the promotion after logging into your account.
- Register by January 7, 2019
- Stay between September 26, 2018 and January 31, 2019.
- 2,000 bonus points on all stays of two or more nights and
- 1,000 bonus points per brand, starting with your second brand.
Due to the structure of the promotion, you can actually earn up to 3,000 points per stay. Unfortunately, they have excluded the first brand from earning the bonus, so the best you can do on the first stay is 2,000 points.
In addition to the main offer, there will be a game available between October 4 and November 1. This game will relate to the 29 brands of the merged operation. I will have a separate post when this game becomes available.
This promotion seems pretty par for the course for Megabonus promotions. As always, you should register for it if you have any chance of staying in one of the Marriott Rewards hotels.
