Melbourne Plaza Premium and Rex lounges join Priority Pass


Priority Pass continues its expansion of offerings in Australia with the addition of the Premium Plaza and Rex lounges in Melbourne.  These lounges are in addition to the restaurants that have been added to the network of the last year.

The Plaza Premium lounge is suitable for Priority Pass members departing on an International flight. For domestic passengers, the Rex lounge in Terminal 4 is now an option.

Plaza Premium – International

The newly opened Melbourne Premium Plaza Lounge has joined the Priority Pass network. The newly opened lounge is located near Gate 9 at Terminal 2 (International Terminal) in Melbourne Airport.

The Plaza Premium lounge is open between 06:00 and 23:00 every day. Members entering with a Priority Pass are entitled to stay for up to 3 hours.

Rex Lounge – Terminal 4

For members flying out of Terminal 4, Priority Pass have added the Rex Lounge is now an option. This addition follows the recent addition of the Sydney lounge to the Priority Pass network.

Located Airside on the 2nd Floor near Gate 30 in Terminal 4, the opening hours are

  • 06:00 – 19:30 Monday – Friday.
  • 06:00 – 19:00 Saturday.
  • 07:30 – 19:30 Sunday.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is a membership program allowing access to many airport lounges worldwide. While is is a paid program, there are a number of credit cards that offer a complimentary Priority Pass membership. In some cases, this offers two visits per year, while unimited options are also available.
