Japan and Hong Kong are reopening to international tourists, and to celebrate Qantas and Jetstar are releasing another round of Points Planes.

    Japan

In the case of Japan, the two airlines will be making every Economy Class seat during the six weeks between 11 May and 20 June 2023 available as Class Flight Rewards.

In addition, Qantas will be offering all Business Class seats on two Points planes on 10 May 2023. These two flights will operate between Sydney and Tokyo (Haneda). This is, however, the only Business Class seats available under this Points Plane offer.

Later in the year, Jetstar are running another six weeks of Points Planes. These flights will be available between 11 October and 30 November 2022. Again, they will be making available every Economy seat as a Classic Flight Rewards.

In total, this means that up to 100,000 seats are being made available to frequent flyer members. The routes that will be available between the two airlines are:

    • Qantas flights between:
      • Sydney and Tokyo (Haneda)
      • Brisbane and Tokyo (Haneda)
      • Melbourne and Tokyo (Haneda)
    • Jetstar flights between:
      • Cairns and Tokyo (Narita)
      • Cairns and Osaka (Kansai)
      • Gold Coast and Tokyo (Narita)

    Hong Kong

Qantas is also returning to Hong Kong. To celebrate, Qantas will be operating a Points Plane to Hong Kong. This flight will make every seat on the plane available as a Classic Flight Reward.

This flight will operate between Sydney and Hong Kong on 30 January 2023.
