The partnership between Qantas Frequent flyer and Ticketek has now gone live. First announced last year, the partnership allows Frequent Flyers to earn and use Qantas Points when booking live events and experiences.
The partnership is promising extra offers for Qantas Frequent Flyers. For example, Qantas Frequent Flyers will have access to special pre-sales and special offers.
Partnership Details
There are a few parts to the partnership. Firstly, you will be able to use Qantas Points across all Ticketek events and experiences. Secondly, Ticketek will offer the ability to earn Qantas Points on exclusive deals. Finally, you will be able to use or earn Qantas Points on exclusive ticket and travel bundles with Qantas Holidays
Using Qantas Points for Live Events and Experiences
Qantas Frequent Flyers are now able to redeem their Qantas Points for select Ticketek events and experiences. It is planned that the ability to earn Qantas Points on specific Ticketek products will follow.
Exclusive Pre-Sales and Special Offers
Qantas Frequent Flyers will have access to exclusive pre-sale opportunities and special offers. This gives Qantas Frequent Flyers early access to popular events.
Entertainment Packages
Qantas and Ticketek recognise that many people travel in order to attend entertainment events. However, many found organising tickets, flights and accommodation a barrier to attending events in another city.
As a result, they are introducing entertainment packages. These will be all inclusive packages offering flights, accommodation and tickets.
