Qantas is rolling out further upgrades to its Regional Lounge network, with refurbishments rolling out across seven lounges around Australia in the coming weeks.
It’s all part of the Flying Kangaroo’s multi‑million‑dollar investment aimed at elevating the travel experience for customers flying through key regional destinations.
What’s Changing?
Travellers can expect a fresh, contemporary look as each lounge receives a redesigned interior inspired by the natural landscapes of its surrounding region. Think warmer tones, modern textures, and a more inviting atmosphere that feels distinctly local rather than one‑size‑fits‑all.
Comfort is also getting a boost. Qantas is introducing new furniture and improved seating layouts designed to make it easier to relax, work, or recharge between flights. Updated flooring, refined finishes, and upgraded surfaces will give the spaces a more polished, modern feel.
And because staying connected is non‑negotiable these days, the airline is enhancing its tech offering too. More charging points will help travellers stay powered up on the go. In addition, the current entertainment displays will get an upgrade.

The following lounges will be temporarily closed during these works.

What does Qantas say?
QantasLink CEO Mark Dal Pra said
These investments are part of our commitment to ensuring customers have great experience with us both on the ground and in the air.
We know how much our frequent flyers value our regional lounges, whether it’s to grab a drink and a snack, or as a quiet place to get some work done.
We apologise for the inconvenience while we renovate, but we’re confident the finished product will make it worthwhile.
