Qantas has announced the return of First Class services both in the air and on the ground. First Class will return to the skies on the A380s. On the ground, the reopening of international business lounges will see the First Class lounges revert back to being actual First Class lounges.
A380 Services
In the air, First Class will return to the skies on the A380 services to Los Angeles. First Class will return to the London services from June, when the Sydney-Singapore-London service is reinstated.
Over the last few years, Qantas have been reconfiguring the interior of the A380. This sees the A380 sporting 70 updated business suites. In addition, Premium Economy has been extended from 35 seats to 60 seats. Finally, the Economy and First cabins have had a refresh.
First Class Lounges
While the First Class lounges in Sydney and Melbourne have been open, they have been operating as a hybrid between Business and First. On March 27, the Business lounges will open, and the First lounge will revert to their premium offering.
Eligible First Lounge customers will again enjoy a Neil Perry curated à la carte dining menu, Champagnes and fine Australian wines, as well as a seasonal cocktail selection.
The Spa will also reopen offering bespoke pre-travel treatments such as hot stone massages and mini facials using LaGaia products.
Qantas will also reopen its First Check-in suite at Sydney International for First customers and top tier Frequent Flyers to enjoy a personalised and streamlined check-in.
