Up to 10,000 Qantas Points at Qantas Wine

    MarkBy MarkMay 17, 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

Qantas Wine has launched a new promotion offering to 10,000 bonus points when buying a case of wine.

As I have written before, sometimes these offers allow you to get points for less than you can purchase them. Another way to look at it is that you are buying points and getting wine for free. And so it is with the current offers.

    Qantas Wine Bonus Points

The Qantas Wines Points bonus is running from now until 22 May. The bonus that you can receive is based on the amount you spend on wine. The following shows the way the bonus is structures

    • 1,000 points when you spend $200 or more.
    • 3,000 points when you spend $300 or more.
    • 5,000 points when you spend $500 or more.
    • 10,000 points when you spend $1,000 or more.

It is worth noting that the spend requirements refers to the total amount you spend in total during the promotion period. Or to put it another way, this promotion is not per transaction – it is just a single bonus based on your total spend.

    Cheaper the Buying Points

If you’re looking for some extra points, buying wine during a promotion such as this could be a good way of doing it. As mentioned, it could be cheaper than buying points outright.

Qantas sells points outright for cash. If I head to the Qantas Top Up Points, I discover that I can buy 20,000 Qantas Points for $645. I think I would prefer to pay $400-$500 and get some wine thrown into the deal.
