Qantas is about to make one of the Pacific’s most underrated paradises a whole lot easier to reach. The Palau Paradise Express will jump from one to two direct return flights a week. The additional flights will operate between between Brisbane and Koror during the December 2026–March 2027 peak season.
The good news is that it will offer travellers the ability to plan short, four‑day escapes to Palau thanks to the new twice‑weekly schedule. It’s a major step forward for a route that only launched in December 2024.
Qantas CEO International Cam Wallace said the second weekly flight will make it easier than ever for Australians to experience Palau.
Palau has been one of the standout destinations in our short-haul international network since 2024, and the extra service is a direct response to growing demand for these incredible islands. Two services a week give Australians more choice about how long they spend in Palau. You can now fly out on a Wednesday, get four days on the reef and be home by Sunday.

Flight Schedule: December 2026 – March 2027
Operated by a Boeing 737‑800, the service clocks in at around six hours from Brisbane. The service will operate as follows:
- Brisbane → Koror: Wednesday & Saturday
- Koror → Brisbane: Thursday & Sunday
