The new World of Hyatt program has launched a global double points promotion – Double Points For Being You. The promotion is the first World of Hyatt has run since taking over from the previous Gold Passport program.
Double Points For Being You
Running from April 1 through to June 30, the Double Points for You promotion is offering Double Points from the second stay. Apart from not providing double points on the first stay, there seem to be few restrictions with the promotion.
The key details of the offer are:
- Register for the promotion at worldofhyatt.com/doublepoints
- Reserve your rooms on Hyatt.com, or other eligible Hyatt channel
- Stays need to be completed during the promotion period of April 1 to June 30, 2017
- You will earn double points from your second eligible stay during the promotion period
As is usual for these promotions, the double points are calculated on the base earning – excluding any status points. They are also issued as bonus points, so will not count towards status qualification.
Summing Up
While it is the first promotion under the new program, it does not set the world on fire. If you have upcoming stays, then it is worth signing up for the extra points. It may not be worth going out of your way to take advantage of the promotion.
