World of Hyatt has just kicked off its first global promotion for 2025. This time around the ‘Bonus Journeys’ promotion id offering double or triple points when staying at participating hotels.
Under the offer, you will receive:
- double points (up to 20,000 bonus points) at participating Hyatt hotels, resorts, Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, and The Venetian Resort,
- triple points (up to 10,000 bonus points) at participating Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels.

While the promotion looks appealing at first blush, it is worth keeping in mind the caps that apply to the overall earning in the promotion. That means that the maximum number of points you can earn during this promotion is 30,000 points. That is made up of a maximum of 20,000 points for the the double points part of the offer, and another 10,000 points for the triple points part.
As a result of these caps, you will max out the promotion after spending US$4,000 on the double points offer, and after just US$1,000 on the triple points offer.

After a bit of a dry spell with global promotions from World of Hyatt, they are back with a double, or triple points offer. On the plus side, the double or triple points are available on all stays in the promotion period, including the first one. However, on the flip side, there are some overall earnings caps that may affect some members.
