During October American Express are offering Membership Rewards members a 30% bonus when transferring Membership Rewards Points to Hilton Honors. The bonus offer is available for transfers made between 1 October and 31 October 2025.
In order to be in line for the bonus, you will need to transfer at least 2,000 American Express Membership Rewards Points. Under the standard conversion rate, those 2,000 points would become 1,000 Hilton Honors Points. However, the 25% bonus will see you get 1,300 points (including the bonus 300 points).
Best Use for Hilton Points
This, of course, begs the question of what you can do with Hilton Honors points. For the most part, they can be used for Reward Nights. In my experience, the best bang for your buck comes with the higher end properties.
That said, as a program, Hilton Honors (kind of, sort of) uses a dynamic pricing model. While the set a rate for each property, from what I’ve seen the number of points needed for a reward night can reach some staggering heights. That said, they do appear at the set rate sometimes. And it is at these times that you can get some good redemptions.
Final Words
During October, you can get a 30% bonus when you transfer American Express Membership Rewards Points to Hilton Honors points. That means you will get 1,300 Hilton Honors points for each 2,000 Membership Rewards points you transfer.
