Kayo Sports have doubled the number of Qantas Points on offer for taking up a new subscription. To be in the running for the double points, you will need to take out a new subscription by 31 December 2020. New subscribers will earn 2,000 bonus Qantas Points on the $25 plan (normally 1,000 points) and 3,000 bonus Qantas Points on the $35 plan (normally 1,500 points). Virgin Australia continues to plot its course out of administration and has now announced an agreement with Boeing on its 737 MAX order. Under the modified agreement, Virgin will keep its order of 25 737 MAX 10 jets. However, it has decided that it will not begin taking delivery of the new jets until mid-2023. This is a further delay of two years over the original order. However, they have decided to cancel their order of the smaller 737 MAX 8 jets. Flybuys has introduced a new option to automatically convert Flybuy points to Velocity Points. From then on, your Flybuys points will automatically convert to Velocity Points each time you reach 1,000 Fly Buys points. Qantas has expanded its insurance portfolio giving Frequent Flyers the ability to earn Qantas Points on their home insurance. As an introductory offer, members can earn up to 40,000 Qantas Points when they sign up for a Qantas Home Insurance policy by 28 February 2021.
