Coming Soon: JW Marriott Gold Coast’s New 2500 Square Metre Spa

    MarkBy MarkJune 23, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

If you choose hotels, at least partly, based on their spa facilities, then a new spa at the JW Marriott Gold Coast may be of interest. Come 12 July 2023, the Gold Coast Hotel will be home to a new Spa by JW.

The new spa will join the hotel as part of its $35-million transformation. And it’s big. Overall, it overall occupies over 2,500 square metres of space.

    Stepping Inside

For those that really enjoy their Spa experiences, the Spa by JW aims to lift the experience to new heights. Step inside, and you’ll be greeted at the Curator’s Desk to check-in. Once check-in, you’ll wait in living room inspired group seating, before heading off for your treatment. While waiting, you’ll enjoy subtle lighting and soft relaxing sounds of the ocean and hinterland.

On offer throughout the space will be a locally inspired tea service, wine service, and a specially selected food menu.

The spa lounge embraces a selection of seamlessly connected relaxation zones. These zones offer unique private and group experiences.

Spa by JW encompasses six treatment rooms, including a signature couple’s room. This room has its own private lounge, ensuite stone bath and twin showers, wellness saunas, steam experience showers, relaxation pods, and an outdoor relaxation area. The private group seating allows for smaller groups to gather in a more intimate and discreet, yet not closed-off lounge space with subtle views into the wider lounge.

Spa by JW has appointed Stacey Leong as Spa Manager. Stacey brings over 13 years of knowledge as a beauty therapist, teamed with wellness experts to curate guests’ journeys.

“It is wonderful to be fast approaching the opening of Spa by JW next month. Sophisticated yet entirely warm and unpretentious, guests should look forward to unrivaled balance to nourish and nurture the body, through beautifully curated treatments designed specifically for Spa by JW,” said Stacey Leong, Spa Manager, JW Marriott Gold Cold Coast Resort & Spa.

“It is a great privilege to open the very first Spa by JW in the Australia and New Zealand region, right here on the Gold Coast,” said Ravinder Dhesi, General Manager, JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa.

Airlines come and go. New hotels open, old hotels change brands, and on it goes. FlyStayPoints was started as a way to try to keep on top of all this. Keep track of promotions.
