If you’re looking for an easy way to top up your Velocity balance, this one’s pretty effortless. All you need to do is create a free Inspiring Vacations account, link your Velocity Frequent Flyer number, and agree to receive a few marketing emails. Do that, and you can pick up up to 3,000 bonus Velocity Points just for staying subscribed.

The points roll in gradually. You’ll get your first 1,000‑point bonus after 30 days, and then another 500 points each time you hit the next milestone — at 90, 180, 270, and 365 days. Stick it out for the full year and you’ll collect the full 3,000 points without lifting a finger.

Linking Your Accounts

In order to claim to points, you will need to create an Inspiring Vacations account. If you have an account you can

• Link your accounts on your Inspiring Vacations profile
  • Ensure you are subscribed to at least one of the marketing communications options (through subscription preference) for 30 days in order to receive the first 1,000 points
  • Every 90 days after you link your accounts up to a full year (at 90, 180, 270 and 365 days) you’ll score 500 Velocity Points, as long as your accounts stay connected and you’re still opted in to marketing.

On-going Offer

 You can now earn 1 Velocity Point for every dollar you spend with Inspiring Vacations. If you want to use points instead, you can redeem them with Points + Pay starting from 5,000 Velocity Points. Just keep in mind that (from what I can see) 5,000 points only knocks about $30 off your booking, so you might get better value saving them for a reward flight to kick off your tour in style.
