Did someone say coffee?
This year, the 1st of October was international coffee day. But why have just one day, why not a whole week, or even a whole month? That’s just what the Citadines hotels are doing.
During October, Citadines will be collaborating with local communities to deliver coffee-inspired experiences. Depending on where you are, the these experiences could include coffee workshops, unique pop-up cafes or cafe hopping walks.

Further afield
It’s a global promotion, so if you have a chance to be in other locations, there are a range of offers being made available. Some examples in the #CitadinesLovesCoffee campaign include:
- Properties in Indonesia will be offering latte art training sessions enabling guests to train with a certified barista.
- Properties across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore will offer coffee-inspired activities such as coffee painting, candle making, spa treatments, mixology and culinary sessions for guests to participate in and forge connections alongside brewing a love for coffee.
- In China properties will embark on collaborations with cafes in the neighbourhood to offer exclusive privileges to guests.
- In Singapore and Cambodia, properties like Citadines Raffles Place Singapore and Citadines Flat Iron Phnom Penh will serve up complimentary local coffee for guests to kickstart their day. Complimentary coffee will also be available at properties in Vietnam and China.
- In Vietnam, guests can take part in hands-on activities at the lobby, using coffee grounds for potted plants and bring them home as souvenirs
Ascott Star Rewards (ASR)
It is worth noting that some activities are made available to Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) members. ASR is the loyalty program of The Ascott group, which includes the Citadines hotels. It’s free to join, so there seems little downside in taking up the offers.
