Accor Plus has just launched a status fast track to ALL – Accor Live Limitless status. In this year’s FastTrack,  bonus Status Nights are on offer after staying one eligible night. The number of bonus status nights on offer varies depending on your current status. A silver member in the program is up for 10 bonus Status Nights after one stay. Singapore Airlines has announced the third successive extension of KrisFlyer Elite (and PPS Club) status. This follows the previous one-year extensions announced in 2020, and 2021. The extension is sure to be welcome news to members who still find themselves largely grounded by the pandemic. 2023-2024 Status Extension The new extension applies to all KrisFlyer Elite (and PPS Club) members whose status runs out between March 2022 and February 2023. Velocity had further extended its UpgradeMe Platinum offer through to 30 June 2022. As a result, Platinum members will be able to apply their Upgrade Certificates to both Choice and Flex fares through to the end of June. It’s a fairly generous offer – as normally you can only upgrade from the more expensive Flex fares. It is similar to a previous offer, made under the previous fare structure. Qatar Airways Privilege Club has announced a one-year extension of Privilege Club tiers. This is good news for silver, gold, and platinum member that had been set to downgrade at the end of the year. Following this extension, they will now keep their status tier through to 31 December 2022. As a result, members will be able to use their benefits for another full year. Qantas has selected the Airbus A320neo and Airbus A220 families as the preferred aircraft for the renewal of its domestic narrow-body fleet. These aircraft will replace the existing Boeing 737 and 717 fleets over the next 10 years. Qantas is looking at an initial order of 20 A321XLR and 20 A220-300 aircraft. On top of that, Qantas is intending to take out purchase options on another 94 aircraft. The order is in addition to Jetstar’s existing agreement with Airbus for over 100 aircraft in the A320neo family. Part of this new deal includes combining these two orders. This will see…
