For the purposes of this promotion, an eligible spend is a single transaction of $50 or more at one the brands at the Velocity eStore. It is also a once only offer – meaning you will only receive the 1,000 bonus points on one transaction during the promotion.
The points are offered in addition to the normal points you would receive. For example, if a brand offers 2 Velocity Points per dollar through the eStore, you would still receive those points.
Velocity eStore
A quick reminder of how the Velocity eStore works. It works in a similar fashion to the cashback sites, or even the Qantas marketplace. You find the brand you wish to purchase from in the eStore and the click through from there. By doing this, Velocity can track your purchase, and the brand will report the sale amount back to Velocity.
Final Words
If you make the minimum qualifying purchase of $50, that will work out to you earning 20 points per dollar. That is in addition to the normal points you earn.
That’s a pretty decent earn rate, although it is only a once-off offer.
