Qantas Frequent Flyer has made some updates to the limits that apply to its Family Transfer program. Two changes have been made that make it easier for families to move points between their accounts  Minimum Points for a transfer: Up until now you have needed to transfer a minimum of 5,000 Qantas Points. Marriott Bonvoy and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer have announced that elite members of the programs will be able to apply for benefits in each other’s programs. These benefits take the form of either a status match or a status fast track. Qantas has made small change to its Economy offering, which is sure to make some say ‘Cheers’. As from today, Qantas will be offering complimentary beer and wine on shorter domestic services from midday. Up until now, on flights up to two and a half hours have had complementary beer and wine after 4pm. Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have announced an agreement to combine the airlines, with Alaska Airlines set to acquire Hawaiian Airlines. While the two boards have approved the transaction, the deal is subject to regulatory approval in the US.
